The story is told how former South Korean president Syngman Ree's brother fell in love with a girl researcher for Life Magazine, for which Rhee also worked.
Rhee disappeared and his sweetheart looked for him everywhere and they were finally reunited. Throwing her arms around him she sighed "Ah, Sweet Mr. Rhee of Life, at last I've found you!"
